BIG WHITES PREMIER RESIDENCE
Constructed in 2019, Snowpeaks is an award-winning mountain chalet, with multiple Canadian Home Builders’ Gold Awards for Excellence, including Home of the Year 2020.
Located at the top of the prestigious Feathertop Subdivision, Snowpeaks sits on the Sundance ski run, with its direct access to the Bullet Chair Lift. Though private, with spectacular 270-degree unobstructed views of the Monashee Mountains, Snowpeaks is only a few hundred meters from the heart of Big White Village.
Snowpeaks is an uncompromisingly luxurious ski chalet. While taking full advantage of its size and location, it is spacious and flooded with natural light. However it still fulfils its primary goal to be a warm and inviting family home.
It offers four bedrooms with king sized beds, a nanny/grandparents’ suite with queen bed, and a kids’ bunk room built of massive fir timbers, sleeping six in a king and four twins configuration. Each bedroom offers a deluxe en-suite, while three include their own steam baths. Additionally, for convenience, Snowpeaks has two half bath/powder rooms, one serving the living room and one just off the boot room.
With its enviable location right on the ski run, guests at Snowpeaks can ski home anytime for lunch, drinks, or just to warm up, then get straight back out onto the hill.
The Great Room
Winner of the Gold Award for Excellence in Any Room, Snowpeaks’ Great Room will impress even the most discerning traveler with its towering ceiling, massive wooden arches and huge fireplace with comfortable seating for ten or more. A natural gathering centre for the home, the Great Room also provides spectacular 270-degree mountain views with its floor-to-ceiling glass and direct access to a wide wrap-around balcony with outdoor seating.
The unique stone mantel fireplace-surround is a true focal point and provides a spectacular example of native art. A massive hearth log also makes this the perfect place to warm up. French doors access the southern deck, with views over the ski run and benefitting from the afternoon sun. Although the Great Room defines its meaning, it is most of all warm and inviting.
Dining Area
An impressive custom-made table seats 12, with expandable leaves adding 4 more. This beautiful piece of furniture was fashioned from fir sourced at a turn of the century school and provides a centrepiece for holiday celebrations or large family meals.
Kitchen
This is a chef’s delight. Massive refrigerator, six burner gas range, oven, a convection/microwave oven, and of course, an espresso machine. Two dishwashers are set into the huge, six by twelve foot granite island, fitted with two sinks. Around the island there is comfortable seating for six, that not only places you firmly in the kitchen, but has unparalleled views of the Monashee Mountains.
The kitchen also has access to a heated deck, fitted with a large gas barbeque. A pair of opposing ski lift chairs with their own overhead heating are perfect for those wanting to enjoy the views in the fresh air with a morning coffee.

The custom-made bar table, crafted from elements sourced from local mines, seats six. The full-sized bar, with its two wine coolers and full dishwasher, round off the Family Room’s entertainment style.
